BOB BURT OVERDRIVE Over the years I have owned many of the top OD’s, Landgraff, Klon, CJOD, TS808 to name a few. All of these units do a great job but I could never quite get the reaction, feel and tone I desired. I thought about it for quite a while and decided to began researching and see if I could design and build an OD that did what I wanted it to do. After many prototypes and hours of testing, I have developed the OD that works for me. I played this pedal in live situations for three months to try and emulate any situation that might show a weak point. It worked perfectly for me so I went to the next phase which was to take a few prototypes and put them into the hands of various highly respected players to get their opinions and feedback. In every case they all asked the same question, “Where can I get one of these?” This gave me confidence that I had designed and built something working musicians could use.
