The V-Front Series Cabinets has become a very popular cabinet among guitar players who have had the opportunity to play them. This basic design has been around since the 1950’s and is nothing new. I designed this series around the thought that the sound of a cabinet could be greatly enhanced by angling the direction of the speaker and working with other things such as porting. Prototypes were produced and tested extensively to determine the most effective combinations and designs. What came from this process is what you see here.
The basic design is a V-Front – Ported Back Panel set up. This allows the best of both worlds so to speak. You get the benefit of the angled front to project the sound in a wider pattern as well as the semi open back that allows the deeper tones to radiate out and fill the room. There is no doubt that the use of solid wood greatly enhances the sound of the cabinets as well as adding a beautiful look when finished naturally. All cabinets are available with a natural lacquer finish as well as tolex covering of your choice.
